Matthew 12: 28
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
In this invitation, Jesus speaks directly to those who feel worn down by life those who have lost their way, who feel discouraged, hopeless, or unsure of how to begin again. He doesn’t wait for us to fix ourselves or find the right path on our own. Instead, He calls us to make a gentle but powerful U-turn back toward Him.
When we wander far, our hearts can grow heavy with confusion, guilt, or exhaustion. But Jesus meets us right where we are, not with judgment, but with an open door and a promise: If you come to Me, I will give you rest. His rest is more than physical relief; it is a deep, soul-level peace that renews our spirit and restores our hope.
